"Delightful nose. The rum leaves little to be missed. If I would not constantly drink so Hochprozentigs, this would be a heavenly rum😂 Beautiful density in the taste despite low ABV. In the mouth is already missing something. But has a long finish. Makes fun"

"Un rhum goûté chez Rum Depot à Berlin. La bouteille est quasiment vide. Nez Caroni en plein, pneus, pétrole et goudron avec un côté frais étonnant mais très agréable. La bouche a une attaque franche avec les notes d’atelier mécanique d’abord, puis vient la fraîcheur (menthol ?) sentie au nez, les fruits en dernier. La finale est un peu pâle en comparaison, il reste surtout des fruits et un boisé peu présent avant. Le verre vide présente un très bel équilibre entre les fruits et l’atelier mécanique. Un très beau Caroni, dommage que sa finale soit un peu faible."

"Direktvergleich der beiden TBRC Diamond Savalle SVL abfüllungen der batches #2 (19 yo / rx18179 und #4 / 18760) Beide sind schön dunkel in der Farbe aber durch die Kolorierung nicht zu malzig geworden. Nase beim batch 2 schön dunkel aber etwas zurückhaltend (wird aber nach einer Weile besser und Kokos kommt dazu) und tolle Fruchtnoten beim Batch #4. Am Gaumen dann schönes Trockenobst beim #4 und etwas bitterer, malziger aber auch trockener beim batch #2. Beide sind gut, meine Präferenz geht aber klar zum batch #4"

"A great example of cask strength Jamaican rum that can stand up to a little water, if you're not ready for anything that robust. I also tried it mixed with Coke. Glad I did. One of the best rum & Cokes I've ever tasted. Really brought out the Jamaican funk. Batch 1 - Bottle 162 of 426"

"A classic cuban rum with not too much fruit or spices. The main focus at this rum is wood. You have a lot of wood in the nose and also at the taste. If you like a lot of wood, buy this one. If you like fruity rum or sweet rum, don‘t taste it."

"Value for money in the UK a solid light rum . the flavour profile on this young rum is insane and the flavours are up there with William George. Excellant Jamaican funk pot still mixed with Guyana and Barbados wow. A touch of white pepper spice, with a slight floral bouquet alongside sugary cookies and berries."

"Auf diesen Navy Rum bin ich gespannt, weil er zum einen vergleichsweise sehr günstig ist und zum anderen eine coole Geschichte mitbringt, die ihn nahe der historischen Navy Blends platziert. Enthalten sind laut Etikett Komponenten aus Guyana, Trinidad und Jamaica. Im Glas schimmert der Rum im tiefem mahagoni. An der Nase die erste Überraschung: Zirbe! (T.D.L lässt grüßen?) Und viel getrocknete und karemelisierte Früchte, Brombeere, ein wenig Fass und Würze. Da ist noch ein anderer Geruch hinter der Zirbe, den ich nicht einordnen kann. Ein bisschen wie ein guter '97er oder '95er Clarendon vielleicht. Am Gaumen recht pfeffrig und prickelnd. Aromatisch sehr ähnlich zum Eindruck der Nase plus eine leichte dreckige Note. Nachklang: der Rum verblasst leider recht schnell, nur die Kräuter / Zirbe bleibt lange präsent. Der Rum ist sehr gut und für den geforderten Preis sehr attraktiv. Die Guyana und T.D.L Anteile sind recht einfach zu erkennen, bei Jamaica tue ich mich schwer. Ergänzung: am Gaumen ist eine alkoholische Note wie von jungem Rum zu spüren. Das verwundert mich nicht, da für den geforderten Preis bestimmt wenig/kein lange gelagerter Rum im Blend steckt."

"Against other Foursquare and ECS ranges this wouldn’t be a go to for me as the wood and vanilla dominate more than I’d like and flatten the other flavours coming out. It’s still a great Bajan run but for the money I would purchase something else."

"I have never tasted a light rum this flavourful in my life and probably never will again. Tasting notes include nuts of plenty , cherry's and vanilla ... A rum that is designed to transform your cocktail but also sits perfectly well on its own with some ice ... The story behind the rum is great but the tasting is the best part and hats of to the producers of this devine product. The only reason it's not a 10 is the price point of it but it is there to compete with your mid range rums .."

"Nosing Peanut butter ,banana, chocolate and sugar Tasting This is definitely a cocktail rum as when tasted on its own I would be very intrigued into the hydrometer reading ... Awful on its own but in a daquiri it's divine but needs the double like in the spec to take the edge off the sweetness"

"This one was a huge disappointment. I have tried a few of the masters and they're usually pretty good, but his one is not up there. The price is definitely not matching the quality. The nose is complex and fruity with honey, wood and vanilla. The palate is sweet and woody with fruit and vanilla in the front followed by honey and chocolate. The finish is medium long with wood, vanilla, chocolate and raisins."
