“Komplex and elegant nose, nicely combining wood, fruits, and some herbal notes. Notes from the barrel aka wood is dominant on the palate. Again, nicely balanced with some herbs and red fruits.”

“#22 RumXCalendar Blind tasting: N: woody, vanilla, prunes, raisin, alcoholic, leather, roastes M: complex, dry, spicy, licorice, oak, roasted, herbal, dried fruits F:dry, smoky, mocha, coffee, oak, vanilla Prediction: classic guyana, approx. 50% and with 20 years + This is a good solid rum! When i saw the output, i was a little dissapointed. This could be a bomb, but for me it‘s a mid 80! The wood isn‘t so dominant but the value for money is bad. Watered down? Nose: alcoholic, woody(oak), vanilla, prunes, raisins, pineapple, mango, peaches, orange, herbal, toffee, clove Mouth: complex, intense, balanced, dry, astringend, woody, licorice, coffee, leather, spicy, dark chocolate, toffee, herbal, roasted, tannins Finish: medium, dry, woody(oak), coffee, mocha, licorice, roasted, vanilla”
