“Sometimes you get your hand on something different and I got a few of those recently. The nose is alcoholic, but on the other hand it is a hefty proof served here. A fruity nose in general with some nuts and a bit of smoke/tobacco topped with hint of oak. The palate is velvety and well balanced with fruits, licorice and some wood. In the bace there is a bit of chemical and polish. The finish is long and peppery with fruits and a hint of oak. This rum is between rum and whisky so caters to both camps.”
