“Very intense and inviting nose. Lemon tart comes directly to my mind. Wow, I could sniff this forever. Then explosive, spicy and slightly salty on the palate. Very nice balance of freshness and barrel influence!”

“The nose is greedy and pastry! We have a beautiful burnt sugar pie with fruitiness galore (plum, raisin, candied fruit ...). The whole is perfectly balanced and harmonious. In mouth, we are less on fruits (except cherry) but more on spices with a more earthy and salty profile. And we find smoked notes! The finish is fine on spices and woody with a touch of saltiness. My faith it is fresh and light, but I preferred the 2008 10 Y to this 2003 14 Y. Even if it remains a nice reference.”
