“Exciting rum! On the nose I have cane sugar, lots of coffee, light plum. The palate is dominated by coffee, caramel, meat, tobacco. For the 46% surprisingly much body with a long finish. I am bothered by the meat note, though. Also, I'm skeptical that the rum isn't a bit sweetened. In addition, I wonder where you suddenly get a 50-year-old rum at such a humane price as a rum bottler not known. Lastly, the question of which distillery this rum should come from?! A bit many question marks...”
