“The proximity between TDL and Caroni was already reported in detail by Steffen's book. Aromatically, I also find HTR-typical notes here and therefore consider a blend of TDL and Caroni likely. I like very well, given the framework data (aging, flavor profile) quite a highlight for me. In direct comparison to other Caronis of the upper category of course somewhat behind.”

“This is not a cheap rum but we'll worth the present price tag. A nicely balanced rum with a light dry touch to the palate. I may have to add a bottle to my collection. A very old lady indeed and a good one.”
