We're excited to tell you about a core upgrade we released in early 2024 that allows you to actively support the further development of the app: “RumX Plus” (RX+) is designed to offer you an even better experience when using your favourite rum app, help us to further improve RumX, and deliver the features you wished for even faster.

RX+ brings several exclusive benefits which make your experience with the app more engaging and informative. Here's what you can look forward to in the current release:

  • In-Depth Market Insights: Stay up to date with comprehensive market value estimates based on auction results and aggregated user data so you can make smart decisions whether you are buying, selling, or simply assessing the value (growth) of your collection.
  • Exclusive personalized deals: RX+ members can access additional daily offers that are tailored to your taste profile and come with exclusive discounts. So you never miss out on a rum that could become your next favorite.
  • Create personal lists: Organize your rum experiences with the ability to create custom lists. Whether you want to rank your favorites, plan future purchases, or organize tasting events, these lists will help you stay organized and engaged.
  • Monthly RX loyalty points: Receive RX points every month that you can redeem for exclusive RumX merchandise or premium tasting sets - free shipping included.
  • RX+ profile badge: Show your support for RumX with a special badge. This badge not only represents your support, but also increases your standing within the RumX community.

RX+ is designed to improve the user experience, but we've made sure that the most important features remain free.

  • What is RX+? RX+ is an optional subscription service that offers exclusive features such as detailed market price estimates, additional daily offers, custom rum lists, and a RX+ profile badge to show your loyalty. And most importantly, with RX+ you actively support the further development of the app and community forum.
  • Why RX+? RX+ was introduced to ensure the sustainability of the RumX platform by offering users a way to make a financial contribution. This support not only helps us to cover the growing operating costs but also enables the continuous improvement and development of new features.
  • What features do I get? RX+ includes several exclusive features such as advanced market price estimates, additional daily deals, the ability to create custom rum lists, and a special profile badge. However, the full benefit lies in new, exclusive RX+ features, which we are already working hard on and will be rolling out in the coming weeks and months.
  • How much does RX+ cost? Subscribe to RX+ for just €5 per month, or opt for our annual membership and enjoy 2 months free as a loyalty bonus. For an annual cost less than that of a mid-range bottle of rum, you'll unlock exclusive benefits and help advance RumX. Prices may vary by location due to differing tax rates.
  • Can I still use RumX without subscribing to RX+? Absolutely! All core features of RumX, such as browsing rums, adding tasting notes, tracking your collection and participating in the community, remain free. RX+ offers additional, premium features for those who wish to enhance their experience.
  • Will RumX also be improved for non RX+ users? Of course! We will still add new features, database updates, and other enhancements that will be available to all users. A few enhancements will however be exclusive to RX+ users. 
  • How can I subscribe to RX+? To subscribe to RX+, update your RumX app to the latest version, navigate to your profile, and click on “Support RumX”.
  • Can I use RX+ on multiple devices? Yes, your RX+ subscription is linked to your user account, enabling you to access RX+ features on any device as long as you're logged into your account.
  • Will more RX+ features be added in the future? Absolutely! The current implementation of RX+ is an initial starting point for supporting the further development of the app. We are already working hard on new features that you have requested.
